Takamine in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear for sale

TAKAMINE FD460SC - Reluctantly I'm selling my Takamine FD460SC. This is a quality guitar which was produced in January 2000. Apparently Takamine only made this model for 3 years between 1999 and 2002 so there aren’t too many around. It’s fitted with the Takamine AD-1 Acoustic DSP preamp, pickup system which is quite different to any other system I’ve used previously. Volume and EQ’s are all set with touch buttons and it’s got various presets which can be left at the factory settings or you can program it with your own sounds and dial them in again with touch buttons. The guitar has been professionally set up with a really good action but there’s plenty of scope to lower it even more if required. It’s in really good condition particularly for it’s age with only one ding on the top edge which has been professionally repaired. This is totally cosmetic and does not affect the playability, performance or appearance in any way. It’s got a really good sound acoustically but it genuinely comes alive when it’s plugged in so it's particularly good for live performance. It’s quite a rare model and was good enough for Noel Gallagher for his unplugged set and in his position he could have bought anything. The sale includes the original Takamine hard case which has a few minor scuffs but it's still in really good condition I think my asking price is very reasonable for a guitar which cost just under £1000 new.
